MAKING ROOM FOR NEW BUILDING
The congregation of CRBC, established 1984, in the old store building at the junction of Highway 3 and Queen Street in Rose Lake, renovated the buildings many times over the years.
Now, the old buildings, including the old parsonage always used for classrooms, will be demolished to make room for a new chapel with a worship center, classrooms, office, fellowship hall and kitchen and paved parking.
September 20, the congregation will start meeting for services on Sundays in the Rose Lake School Historical Society until the new building is finished. Except on October 4, which is the annual Hunters Breakfast at the school. Services will be at the home of Wayne Schoonmaker for that one Sunday.
The congregation and the Pastor, Joseph G. Masterson invites the community to be a part of a new era in Rose Lake, Idaho.

STILL WAITING
If Kootenai County will be timely, we should be able to begin demolition and dirt work before the end of August. The Historical Society has granted permission to use the Gymnasium for storage. We want to express our appreciation for their graciousness. Watch for a big announcement soon.
God has been so good to us and we've had wonderful services, timely Bible studies about grace, and precious prayer times. Bill Huff has shared with us some of the songs God has given him and it is such a blessing to hear them.

IT WON'T BE LONG
It won't be long and the CDA River "don't rise." We should be getting our building permit in the next few weeks. God has provided more funds through His other godly children and organizations and we are so encouraged. Keep watching along the highway for dirt work, demolition and a gigantic yard sale. Dates will be announced soon.

New Building Plans
We are so thrilled and are praising God for the new plans for our church building done by Marcus Valentine. It shouldn't be too long before we apply for our building permit. God has certainly taken us over many hurdles in this process. The rough draft of the plan to be eventually submitted for that permit will be shown Sunday morning during the services, 3/15.

Homegoing of Kristy Schoonmaker
With heavy hearts, on Wednesday, February 18, we laid to rest the body of our sister in the LORD, Kristy Schoonmaker, a resident of Rose Lake. We are encouraged, however, that we will meet again in Heaven. She was a loving wife to Wayne Schoonmaker, mother and daughter (of Evelyn Anderson) as well as a Bible study leader in our church. We will miss her.

Progress
We are making progress in our building program. The Engineer, Builder and Architect will be meeting this week together for the first time. Our permit should be approved soon. Currently, we are seeking permission from the Historical Society for parking in special events when our parking lot might be full. Nathan Hardin and the Baptist Builders will be awaiting our building schedule, in order to schedule their time with us. Very exciting times here in Rose Lake community.

SNOW, SNOW & MORE SNOW
As in all of North Idaho, Rose Lake community is covered in snow. The plow trucks have all been so busy, it's been hard to get one to regularly plow our property for parking and getting into the buildings. We will try to keep everyone abreast of whether we will have services each week through this time, by 6 PM of each Saturday.
