Message Title: Are You Prepared for War?
Scriptures: Matt.10:22; Eph.6:10-18

Today’s Blog is heavy on my heart due to the fact that some of us that are reading are not prepared. Others even though being warned will not endure the persecution of being a believer in Christ.
Matt 10:22
22 And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved.
Jesus was already warning us that the world will hate us and that persecution will come, simply for following him. He goes on to say that families will come against each other for this same reason.
Today in GQ magazine, a popular mens magazine, there was a section that gave a book suggestion list.
One the suggestions was not to read the Bible and in exchange read a fictional book about two brothers you have to learn to be cruel in order to survive. It when on to say this about the Bible.
The Holy Bible is rated very highly by all the people who supposedly live by it but who in actuality have not read it. Those who have read it know there are some good parts, but overall it is certainly not the finest thing that man has ever produced. It is repetitive, self-contradictory, sententious, foolish, and even at times ill-intentioned. If the thing you heard was good about the Bible was the nasty bits, then I propose… (GQ May 2018)
In Matt 13 Jesus gives us a parable. In that parable Jesus explains that if we have no root in ourselves and we cannot withstand the persecution that the word of God will bring we will never bare its fruit. I can only encourage you today to stay strong in your faith of Christ. Put on the full armor of God.
Eph 6
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age,[c] against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints
All the items he tells us to have are weapons of war.
He doesn’t say grab a hammock and go wait by the beach until you see Jesus coming to save the day.
He says be ready for a battle. Ladies and gentlemen the battle is already here and has been for a while. Are you ready for war?

Message Title: Reap What You Sow
Scriptures: Gal.6:7-8; Jeremiah 17:10; Philp.12:2

Gal 6:7-8
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.

I want to talk with you today about reaping and sowing. Have you ever notice no matter what you plant, you always get more back than the original amount you planted. Considering everything goes well. If you plant one apple seed you expect an apple tree in which you would expect that tree to produce more than the one apple you started off with. It’s how God intended it to be. This is also true not just in planting but in life.
If you are kind you can expect kindness to return to you in a greater amount then you originally gave. You may not receive it from the person you showed it to or in the way you thought it was going to come back to you, but you will receive it with interest. That goes for all aspects of life, including the ones we may not want to receive back.
You cannot be cruel to anyone and not expect a return. You cannot be unforgiving and not expect that in return. A lot times I hear people say why me? I never did that to anyone and maybe their right but they are not just getting what they did to someone or how they acted to someone returned to them they are getting what they sowed in a multiplied sate. Just like the apple tree we mentioned earlier.
God knows your heart and will give unto accordingly.

Jeremiah 17:10
I, the Lord, search the heart,
I test the mind,
Even to give every man according to his ways,
According to the fruit of his doings
.

This is extremely important to us. We want God to give to us good things, therefore our heart and mind when searched must be in God and after his heart and mind.

This is why the Bible says in Philp 2:12
12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;

We will be repaid in whatever we do, good or bad with a big fat heaping hand back. Go out today and sow what you want to reap back.

Message Title: Right When You Thought it Was Over
Scripture: Luke 24:1-6

Right When You Thought it Was Over
April 1, 2018
To many times we go to church like the ladies we are about to read about. In where we go already expecting to do our religious service and then trying to figure out how we will remove certain obstacles on our life. Not realizing that we are serving a true living God.
Now on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they, and certain other women with them,[a] came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared. But they found the stone rolled away from the tomb. Then they went in and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. And it happened, as they were greatly[b] perplexed about this, that behold, two men stood by them in shining garments. Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen!
We can not go into a church service not understanding the very thing that is in our way, our stone, no matter if it’s a sin or some other problem that God has already removed it for us due to his Son’s finished work. Jesus has risen. There’s nothing left to be done. Don’t live as if you serve a messiah whom you can go and visit his body somewhere.
Whatever it is you are going through. Whatever you thought was dead, your marriage, sickness, any one of the billion problems there are that one might have. Please understand, that just like these women who thought it was all over and they were just going to put the final touches on the situation. That God has another plan. Just when you thought it was over. Just when you thought there is nothing left to be done? Remember he has risen! Jesus is alive! He died and rose again just like he said he would. For every sin, for every heartache, for every person. Young, old, educated, non-educated. Rich the poor, the sick the healthy. All races, all nationalities. Just when you thought it was over remember. We don’t seek a living messiah among the dead.
