Message Title:  Your Miracle Has Already Happen
Scriptures: John 18:28-30; Matt.11:28-30.

Too many times we go into our prayer lives thinking that we need to do something extra when a prayer doesn’t happen when or how we thought it should be answered. We often think our prayer is not being heard do to something we have or have not done. When in actually our prayers our heard due to and only due to the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross.

John 18
28 After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, “I thirst!”
30 So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.

All things were not accomplished. Meaning there is nothing left to be done. It is finished! Everything that needed to be done in scripture was done Jesus fulfilled everything; we don’t have to add to anything he has already done to come to God. Due to his finished work we our forgiven due to his finished work our prayers are heard.

Matt 11
28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

Take rest that if your faith is in Jesus you already have everything that needs to be done to be heard and for your prayers have already been answered.
The Miracle you need to happen has already happen. Now, pray knowing you are being heard no matter your short comings. No, matter how much of the Bible you know or don’t know. Pray to God in Jesus name and be heard.
Be Blessed in Jesus name.

Message Title: Fruit That Produces Faith
Scriptures: James 2:19-20; Mark 5:25-34; 6:53-56.

Have you ever notice that there are more people that claim to believe in God then those you live their life like they believe in God? This is a huge problem for them and the world. It’s not enough to just make a verbal proclamation that you believe in God.

James 2:19 NKJV   You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble!

Saying that you are a believer in God and not surrendering to that belief does you no good. Without action behind that statement, the statement is dead.

James 2:20 NKJV     But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?

Here is what happens when you have a faith the is alive.

Mark 5:25-34
25 Now a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years, 26 and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse. 27 When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment. 28 For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.”
29 Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction. 30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched My clothes?”
31 But His disciples said to Him, “You see the multitude thronging You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’
32 And He looked around to see her who had done this thing. 33 But the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth. 34 And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.”
I want to bring out a couple of points in this story.
1.   Jesus says your faith has made you well.
What was the evidence that she had faith? After hearing who Jesus was she said in her heart that if she could just touch him she would be healed and then proceeded to try and touch him unto she finally did. Verses 27 & 28. Faith in action.
2.   She had heard about Jesus from the same crowd who was thronging him and yet she was the one who got healed. Why? They were making a statement of faith and not acting on it she made a statement of faith by her actions. Verse 29-31
3.   After she showed her faith through action it encouraged others to do the same.
Mark 6:53-56
53 When they had crossed over, they came to the land of Gennesaret and anchored there. 54 And when they came out of the boat, immediately the people recognized Him, 55 ran through that whole surrounding region, and began to carry about on beds those who were sick to wherever they heard He was. 56 Wherever He entered, into villages, cities, or the country, they laid the sick in the marketplaces, and begged Him that they might just touch the hem of His garment. And as many as touched Him were made well.
Your faith should produce in someone to seek out Jesus for themselves. Don’t just make a statement with your words to day make a statement with your life.
Be blessed in Jesus name.

Message Title: Stop Settling For Crackers
Scripture: Matt. 6:25-33; Philippians 3:12

We see here in Matthew 6 that Jesus is trying to help us understand what is really important.

Matt 6:25-33
25 “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 Which of you by worrying can add one [j]cubit to his [k]stature?
28 “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; 29 and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not [l]arrayed like one of these. 30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
Now, most of have been taught that Jesus is only talking about the physical needs in our life and not to worry but, he will take care of them. Let me tell Jesus is a not one dimensional. He is peaking here spiritual. Look at this scripture form a spiritual aspect.
Starting with verse 25. Don’t worry about what you will eat or drink. Speaking of eating it’s a need. A physical need. To be loved for, cared about, honored. Second half of verse 25. Drink emotionally. How are people going to perceive you? Are you a good enough person? Do you have the right friends? Right clothes? Etc.
Jesus says that Solomon had all these things going for him but could attain what the lilies had. Why because they did not work for it, it was already in them by what was sown.
Let me explain like this. If you plant an apple seed you’re going to get an apple tree. If you plant strawberries you are going to get strawberries. Jesus is saying seek first the kingdom of God and his righteous and we won’t have to worry about being Loved, or honored. What need to worry about what people think of us? He will provide all of that without us having to stress about it.
I don’t have to worry about trying and stop all my bad behaviors to make people love me or accept me. My “bad” behaviors will stop the more I seek him out. We spend way too much time on all the things we think we should change and very little time just serving God. No, more pressure to be perfect. I wasn’t perfect today chances are I won’t be tomorrow.
It’s not an excuse it’s a reality. Apostle Paul says this:
Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.  Phi 3:12
The I entitle this blog, Stop Settling For Crackers.
Why? I hear to many of not getting all that God has for us due to the fact we know we still have a lot of unrighteous in us. And it stops us from going after all that God has for us. That could be a ministry or a job. Love, respect. Whatever it is for you. We fail to realize God’s grace is a gift.
Just seek him out friend the rest will fall into place.
