Message Title: A Fathers Love
Scripture:  1John 4:9-11.

I heard a story not too long ago. A millionaire lost his son in a car accident and it came time for the doctors to ask if he would be willing to donate his son’s organs. After some thought the father agreed and the doctors performed the necessary surgeries. The doctors told the Father that it was against policy for them to tell him who would receive his son’s organs.
After some time the Father, who was completely distraught, thought if I could just know where my son’s organs went and that it truly helped someone I feel would comforted. He used his money and influence to get the information earlier forbidden for him to have to find who had received his son’s organs.
When he found the person you received his son’s heart and after a very awkward introduction of who he was and why he was there. He asked if he could be allowed just for a moment to lay his head on the person’s chest and listen once more to his son’s heart. The person agreed and the Father laid his head on the individual’s chest and heard once again his son’s heart.
We were once like this. We were dying in need of a heart transplant and God allowed us to receive his son’s life in place of ours. So, if God puts his ear to our chest will he hear the beating of his son’s heart? Love, compassion, peace, kindness, and all words we can use to describe Jesus or will he still hear our old heart. Selfishness, pride, anger, and all the words we can use to describe someone who still needs a heart transplant.
We don’t change due to our Love for God. We change due to his Love for us.
1 John 4
In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. 10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
It Goes on to say that because of this we should also Love our fellow man.
1 John 4
11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
When someone who does not look like you. Worship like you. Come from the same neighborhood as you. Puts there ear to your heart, will they hear the beating of the son of God?
Ask yourself that question? Then seek out the Lord ask him to help you. Therefore the next time someone needs to hear the heart of God they can start with you.
Be Blessed in Jesus name.

Message Title: Injustice Has Been Served
Scriptures : Rom.3:23; 6:23; 4:25; Philp.4:4; John 8:36

Have you ever been wrongfully accused of something? Have you ever gotten a bill with a hidden charge? Do you remember how that felt when you were told about the false accusation or, how you were still responsible for the hidden cost?
Now think back of when you were vindicated on those accusations. Maybe, you talked to the manager, and they said you should not have been charged with whatever it was and took it off your bill.
Well the crazy thing is we are being charged with things, we are guilty of. There are things on our spiritual bill that needs to be paid.

Rom 3:23 says,
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
And in case you were not aware the wages of those sins, the payment, for our sins is “Death.”

Rom 6:23
For the wages of sin is death,

Thank God, we don’t have to worry about payment for our sin. There has been and injustice done that has benefited us. That injustice is that Jesus Christ has paid our price. He has died for our sins. His life is the full ransom needed for our sins.

Rom 4:25
25 who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification.

Philp 4:4
Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!

Rejoice my friend, and I will rejoice with you. Rejoice knowing that everything needed to be done for our lives has been done. We are truly made freed in Christ Jesus.

John 8:36
36 Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

Message Title: Satan's Battle Plan
Scripture: Gen.3:2-4; 2Tim.3:1-5; 1Cor.1:18

I get asked the question a lot about listening to non-Christian music or watching certain movies. Can we or should we watch and listen to non-Christian entertainment? Now, I am not going to tell you if you should or should not listen to it. But, here’s a question?
Have you ever noticed that when listening to non- Christian music or a non-Christian movie they leave something out? For example. Most Love stories, Boy and Girl meet something tries to stop them from being together, they finally overcome that thing and boom Happily Ever After. Songs the same Way. Let’s drink, party, have sex and there are never consequences for this behavior.
The fact of the matter is, that is not at all reality. There are always consequences for our actions. The no consequence idea is not a new one.

Gen 3
And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’ ”
Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die.

The first thing Satan told mankind was there will not be a consequence for your disobedience to God. And He’s been doing it ever since.
People also say that they sometimes get a spiritual meaning out of secular movies and music. It reminds me of the scripture in

2 Tim 3
But know this, that in the last days [a]perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, [b]unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!

A form of godliness, meaning it sounds spiritual but, denying its power is actually denying Jesus and why he came. In other words these movies and songs deny the fact that we are sinners in need of a savior and that Jesus is that savior.

1 Cor. 1:18
18 For the [g]message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

The next time you watch or listen to something secular ask yourself. What are they really saying?
